Mazda uses Texas Instruments ID47 transponder chips on most current models (Mazda 3 BP, Mazda 6 GJ, CX-5 KF, CX-30, CX-60) and ID49 on some older models. Mazda's Advanced Keyless Entry (AKE) system — available on CX-5, CX-30, Mazda 6, and all CX-60 variants — uses encrypted rolling-code RF with OBD-level pairing beyond the transponder. All-keys-lost Mazda requires pin-code extraction from the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) or BCM. We carry Mazda-specific IDS-compatible OBD tools for all UK-market generations.
